This Saturday morning ride from the Woodside Bakery is a classic for the mid-peninsula because it heads up the long ascent called Montebello Rd., past some some great wineries whose Montebello Cabernets are world renowned and ridiculously expensive, and after that it goes cross country on dirt and gravel towards Montebello Preserve off of Page Mill Rd. The dirt closes the loop, shortens the ride, and heightens the experience.
