Historic interpretive trail with both Revolutionary and Civil War points of interest. The park service provides guide books at the trail head that lead you along the trail and gives a brief explanation of each site. There have been sightings of several bald eagles from the river overlook at the top of the hill.Trailhead: Leesylvania State Park is in the southeast area of Prince William County, approximately 25 miles from Washington, D.C. and Fredericksburg.
