TO TRAILHEAD: From the intersection of US 24 and Main Street in Buena Vista (the only stoplight in Buena Vista), drive north on US 24 for 19.2 miles to the intersection of US 24 and CO 82. Turn left (west) on CO 82 and drive 1.8 miles to the intersection with CR 25. Turn left onto CR 25 and drive 0.5 miles. Turn left at the "T" intersection and continue on CR 25, avoiding all spurs for the next 0.5 miles. The road gets a little rough, but should be okay for most passenger cars.
