This is the hike in Yosemite. Half Dome is the hike that everyone does, that means that there will be lots of people joining you. However, this a longer, but easier route than the standard trudge up the mist trail and then up, up, up Half Dome. Starting at Glacier Point, you get the trail all to yourself, see a waterfall, Illilouette, that many do not get to see. Until you reach the John Muir trail, you can enjoy Yosemite and the mountain views in solitude. This is a long hike so be in good shape.
